The timepieces in the new Chopard Imperiale collection are a reminder that nature never stops inspiring

There was a time when a dial was, well, a dial, and a strap just a strap. Watch designers were only concerned with crafting an impeccable watch strap, without every worrying about making it stand out.

Things have definitely changed. Watch designers now look at timepieces as a complete entity, comprising a case, dial, and strap, and movement. And Chopard is leading the way with its new collection

Case in point: Chopard’s stellar Imperiale collection. This new collection reflects the vast scope of its inspiration, encompassing territories ranging from extreme purity to supreme refinement.

For the first time, the Imperiale collection welcomes a moon phase, a horological complication whose aesthetic appeal in no way overshadows its technical sophistication.

As beautiful on the inside—with its Chopard 96.25-C movement—as it is on the outside, the Chopard Imperiale Moonphase is an eloquent reminder that watchmaking loves women.

The Imperiale Moonphase model is, thus, intended for ladies who are moved as much by technical complexity as by aesthetic elegance. The self-winding moon-phase movement driving this new creation, and supplying it with a comfortable 65-hour power reserve, belongs to a proud lineage of 10 calibres and their 70 variations, all entirely designed, developed and produced in-house.
